BMW claim the car-like dash is the “perfect companion for your tour.” It combines all the instruments of the R 1250 RT, as well as practical functions such as the integrated map navigator and connectivity. With its ‘Audio System 2.0’, the new R 1250 RT offers a a better sound experience too. The split screen gives an overview of several functions at the same time, and the colour display is given extra sharpness and contrast by the non-reflective glass cover.
Aside from the smart new dash, other features of the new R 1250 RT include Cruise Control, LED Headlight, Rear Light and Indicators, Adjustable Electric Windscreen, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and Hill Start Control, two riding modes (Rain and Road) and Heated Grips.
