Meet Nick AKA MOTOUK

Nick started riding at 16 years old with his first motorcycle being a Yamaha FS1E. From that bike he moved onto 125cc bikes until I was 22 before having break to pursue his other passion, Scuba Diving. In his 30’s he then decided he wanted to get back into motorcycling and inspired by The Long Way Round hre decided to do some touring in Europe. His first trips were into France and Spain. Over the years he has toured Germany, Switzerland, Austria as well as many routes around the UK

He started filming his rides to capture video footage to look back on later in life and to pass on to his children, something he wishes he had of his own dad to look back on.

Nick loves riding motorcycles, photography and videography, so decided to put all his passions in to one with the MOTOUK channel. He gets great pleasure in hearing back from subscribers and viewers how they love the scenic routes he chooses. He passes on route information also introducing them to his local riding areas in Lancashire and the Lake District.

With the Youtube channel at not 6,500 subscribers, he is adding in motorcycle reviews and trying to put his honest opinions across. He wants to show how these bikes are in the real world and not just raced round a circuit a. After all motorcycles are used mainly on the roads so this is where he focuses his bike reviews. Nicks goal hit 10k subscribers so let’s help him out and subscribe here!

As well as Youtube he has recently started to grow his Instagram “motouk_” page as a way of reaching more people that love all things motorcycle related.

Nicks current daily motorcycle is the Yamaha MT10SP which he bought end of 2017.

Following this, Nick will be heading to the Isle of Man TT coming up in May/June and in August he plans to hit Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France on an epic 10 day tour.

We look forward to more of his reviews this year and of the Triumph Bobber Goldline Edition he has at the moment!
