Speedo Angels are an independent business who create motorcycle dashboard screen protectors. The Customer Service and Communications Assistant role is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly team. This post holder will be working both from home and our Paulton office. This position is for 24 hours a week, with Monday’s worked in the office and flexi working between Tuesday and Friday.
Overall Responsibilities
- To respond and resolve customer enquires and complaints across all channels
- To raise the profile of Speedo Angels by utilising the organisation’s social media channels and communication tools
- To provide administrative support to the Company Director
- To work with the Company Director to develop our brand and income opportunities.
- Comply with Speedo Angels’ policies and procedures
Specific Responsibilities – Customer Service
- Investigating and resolving customer enquires then closing support tickets
- Mange customer feedback across eBay, Amazon and Trustpilot
- Manage customer returns and process refunds
- Manage customer replacement orders using Royal Mail Click & Drop
- Maintain and update mailing list
- Process invoices for Speedo Angels dealers and distributors and set reminders for payment due dates to ensure invoices are paid promptly
- Support the Company Director with managing the team’s annual leave allowances
- Support the Company Director with company administration as required
- Perform any other tasks which are reasonable requests that may be made by the Company Director
Specific Responsibilities – Communications
- Run the Speedo Angels social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring engagement
- Design and write content for marketing materials
- Create a range of content, including photo, video, copy and simple graphics for digital mailouts and social media
- Keep track of new motorcycle releases to develop income opportunities
- Communicate with our brand ambassadors and track brand ambassador discount code usage
- Provide insight and administrative support with website maintenance and upkeep
- Assist in the wider brand management of the organisation
Relevant Experience for Customer Service and Communications Assistant
- Experience in a customer service-based role
- Knowledge of an eCommerce helpdesk would be beneficial (we use ReplyCo)
- Understand the best practices of main social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
- Must possess good writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content
- Strong communicator who works well independently and with a team
- Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction
- Knowledge of social media schedule would be beneficial (we use both Hootsuite and Facebook Business Suite)
- Knowledge of email marketing would be beneficial (we use Mail Chimp)
- Knowledge of creating digital content would be beneficial (we use Canva)
- A knowledge of motorbikes is desirable but not essential – what’s important is a willingness to learn our product and the industry!
