Honda’s bestselling CB500 range receives updates for 2022!
Changes to Honda‘s A2-friendly range include new 41mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston forks, which should dramatically improve handling, plus new Twin discs which replace the old single-disc brake setup. Both the 2022 Honda CB500F and CBR500R get a lighter, Y-spoke alluminium 17-inch front wheel, while the adventure-ready CB500X gets a lighter 19-inch front wheel. Each model in the CB500 range gets a new swingarm and Honda say that the 2022 swingarm is “is stiffer rotationally, and also more flexible laterally to improve handling.” Other changes include new, lighter radiators and some minor styling changes.
All three models in the CB500 range are available in Honda’s classic Grand Prix Red colourway. The 2022 CB500F comes in Pearl Smoky Gray, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, and Pearl Dusk Yellow. The 2022 CB500R comes in Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic, and the 2022 CB500X is available in Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic and Pearl Organic Green.
The dash on each model in the 2022 range (CB500F, CB500R and CB500X) remains unchanged, so our current dash protectors will fit. Dash protection is available here!
