Ducati’s new Streetfighter V2 was recently unveiled, and we love the look of the naked sports bike!
The 2022 Streetfighter V2 model mimics the mechanical components of a Panigale V2 but stripped of its fairings and equipped with high, wide handlebars. The heart of the Streetfighter V2 is a 955cc V-twin Superquadro engine delivering 148bhp and 75lb-ft of torque, and although these figures are similar to the Panigale V2’s, the Streetfighter will have a more aggressive acceleration due to the abscence of the full-fairing.
The Streetfighter V2’s naked aesthetics includes a compact front headlight, high handlebars and a wider, more comfortable seat position with a height of 845mm. The tyres are Pirelli’s Diablo Ross IV Sports and the five-spoke wheels are another component borrowed from Ducati’s Panigale V2.
The vast array of electronics on the Streetfighter V2 includes cornering ABS, traction control (lean-sensitive), wheelie control, slide control and rear lift detection. There’s an up/down quickshifter and engine brake control as standard, and the 4.3-inch TFT dash features three riding modes – Sport, Road or Wet.
