Honda’s new Rebel CMX1100 – a “bare-boned motorcycle that pays homage to the fat-tyred “bobber”.

Launched in spring this year, the CMX1100 is predominately aimed at the American market but is also available here in the UK. With blacked-out Bobber styling, the Rebel shares the same 1100cc engine as Honda’s Africa Twin and produces 87bph and a max torque od 72.3 ft-lb. The Rebel CMX1100 has four riding modes to choose from -Standard, Rain, Sport and User. The User mode is configurable and once it’s been set up to your liking, your preferences will remain saved. There’s traction control, wheelie control and Throttle By Wire management. Cruise control comes as standard and Honda’s unique, six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission is an optional extra.

We especially love the cool cruiser styling of the new Rebel and really rate the smart new dash Measuring 120mm diameter, the negative digital display offers intuitive information delivery while still looking cool.
