Triumph have just revealed their new Speed Triple 1200 RR! With top of the range electronic suspension, a distinctive look, new fairing and impressive spec, Triumph say it’s “the most exhilarating Speed Triple ever.”
Based on Triumph’s Speed Triple 1200 RS, the RR uses the same 1160cc triple engine as the RS, but gains half-fairings and a spec suitable for both track and road riding. The RR boasts top-spec Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 electronically-adjustable suspension (which is used on some of the best sportsbikes out there), Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V3 tyres and a 5-inch full colour TFT dash.
The RR has a single, sculpted LED headlight, carbon fibre detailing on the side panels, cockpit and fairing, and the bike has a distinctive tail-light and compact rear end. Details you will only see on the RR are the carbon fibre front mudguard, colour coded belly pan and colour coded seat cowl. The bike shares the same seat height of 830mm as the RS, but the seat is slimmer and the fuel tank narrower. The clip on bars are 135mm lower and 50mm further forward than the Speed Triple RS, which say Triumph, makes for a “more engaged and focused racing position.”

Over 30 optional Triumph accessories will be available for the Speed Triple RR, as well as a choice of two colours – Red Hopper or Crystal White. The Speed Triple 1200 RR is due to arrive in dealers from January 2022 with a starting price of £17,950.
